Stardust Revealed His David Bowie Tribute For WWE Raw And Yes, It’s Perfect

Despite being important in so many popular cultures, the late, great David Bowie didn’t leave much of a footprint in the world of pro wrestling. Sure, the WWF used ‘Modern Love’ for a few years as the opening theme for WWF All-Star Wrestling, but that’s about it.

Still, one thing you’ve heard all day from wrestling fans is that they hope Stardust has an appropriate tribute for Bowie on Raw. He’s name is Stardust, for crying out-loud, he has to. The good news is that the artist formerly known as Cody Rhodes isn’t going to let you down, and posted a preview pic of said tribute on his Twitter. It’s perfect.

Suggestions:

1. Team up Stardust with Dolph Ziggler, just so you can call them “Ziggy Stardust.”

2. Give the Ascension all-red gear and call them, “The Spiders From Mars.”

3. Team up those two teams for an eight-man tag.

If that happens, everything will be hunky dory. Thank you for this, Stardust. Bowie was so big that even if he didn’t touch the wrestling world, he touched the men and women in the wrestling world, and his memory will live on. Bonus points if we can figure out how to get Ted DiBiase on the show as “The Man Who Sold The World.”
