The Undertaker’s First Order Of Business After Retiring Was To Plug A George Strait Concert

The pro wrestling world is still coming to terms with The Undertaker‘s surprise retirement following the main event of WrestleMania 33 on Sunday. The Dead Man was around for over 25 years (not even counting his pre-Undertaker career), and has been synonymous with professional wrestling for entire generations of fans. And now he’s gone.

But apparently, he’s going to pop up in other avenues! Like, for example, suddenly hyping a quartet of George Strait concert weekends in Las Vegas, via the accurately-named “Strait To Vegas” promotion. Listen to the zombie mortician MMA cowboy talk about how much he loves “King George,” and particularly the song “Troubadour.”

I guess this plug makes sense, given that The Undertaker has always been here for both a good time AND a long time. The Strait To Vegas concerts tout that Strait will be playing “60 No. 1 hits, plus fan favorites.” That’s … that’s way too many songs, my dude. It is unclear whether the 60 hits will be spread out across each weekend, or all four weekends, or that he’ll play a bunch of medleys, or what. It’s also unclear what “fan favorites” would be if not No. 1 hits. I guess I don’t know how music works!

Anyway, if you were curious about the song Undertaker was waxing rhapsodic about, here you go:
