WrestleMania 35 Reportedly Has A Confirmed Location, So Bring A Jacket

“IT’S THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE!”

MetLife Stadium has been the rumored location of next year’s WrestleMania since a tweet from Brad Shepard way back in November, but Barstool was reporting it yesterday and Dave Meltzer confirmed it: WWE’s returning to New York comma New Jersey (again) for WrestleMania 35. Or “WrestleMania Statue Of Liberty,” whatever they call it.

WrestleMania was last at MetLife back in 2013 with “WrestleMania NY/NJ,” aka WrestleMania 29, featuring CM Punk vs. The Undertaker and “Once In A Lifetime” part 2. The Raw after Mania was held at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, but that doesn’t exist anymore, so they’d either run next year’s post-Mania TV at the Prudential Center in Newark or more realistically, knowing WWE, Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Despite this apparent confirmation from multiple sources, it’s always a good idea to wait to buy your plane tickets after WWE makes an official official announcement, which a lot of folks thought they’d make when Raw 25 was going down in New York a couple of shows ago.

Our advice: bring a jacket (because early spring nights in New Jersey can get pretty cold), don’t buy a ticket in the corners where you’ll have your view obstructed by some prop buildings, and keep your fingers crossed that Vince McMahon does another hilarious set reveal.
