WWE Fastlane 2016 Results

Here are your quick and dirty, editorial-free WWE Fastlane results. The show was headlined by a triple threat match between Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar, to name Triple H’s opponent at WrestleMania. The show also featured matches for the Divas, United States and Intercontinental Championships.

WWE Fastlane Results:

2-out-of-3 Falls Match for the United States Championship: Kalisto (c) defeated Alberto Del Rio 2 falls to 1. Kalisto won the first fall by disqualification, when Del Rio attacked him with a chair. Del Rio won the second fall with a Tree of Woe double-stomp. Kalisto won the third fall with a rollup to retain the Championship.

1. Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks defeated Naomi and Tamina. Lynch and Banks won with stereo submission finishers (the Banks Statement and the Dis-Arm-Her) on Naomi and Tamina.

2. Intercontinental Championship Match: Kevin Owens (c) defeated Dolph Ziggler. Owens pinned Ziggler after a pop-up powerbomb.

3. Ryback, Big Show and Kane defeated The Wyatt Family. Ryback pinned Harper after Shell Shocked.

4. Divas Championship Match: Charlotte (c) defeated Brie Bella. Charlotte won by submission with the Figure-Eight.

5. AJ Styles defeated Chris Jericho. Styles won by submission with the Calf Crusher. After the match, the two shook hands.

– Edge and Christian exchanged insults with The New Day until the League of Nations interrupted. New Day and Edge and Christian left the ring, but stopped on the ramp to shake their butts at the League.

6. Curtis Axel defeated R-Truth. Axel pinned Truth with a rollup. Goldust tried to fight off the Social Outcasts, but it didn’t help.

7. Triple Threat Match: Roman Reigns defeated Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar. Ambrose and Reigns put Lesnar through the announce table with a powerbomb on two separate occasions, but it wasn’t enough to keep him down. Reigns speared Lesnar, but Lesnar transitioned it into a Kimura. As Reigns was trying to power out, Ambrose attacked both men with chairs. Ambrose knocked Lesnar out of the ring, but turned into a spear from Reigns. Reigns moves on to face Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania.
