WWE NXT Results:

– The show opened with Poppy performing ‘I Disagree,’ and then playing Io Shirai down to the ring with ‘Scary Mask.’ It was awesome and you should watch it here.

1. Io Shirai defeated Candice LeRae. LeRae went for a quebrada, but landed on a steel chair. Shirai pinned her to the win the match, and tried to assault her with the chair afterward. Rhea Ripley made the save, kicking the chair out of Shirai’s hands and sending her fleeing.

– Pete Dunne will face Damien Priest next week.

– Finn Bálor explained his actions from last week, saying that there are too many fans in the locker room, when they should be in the stands. He called out Johnny Gargano, saying that when Gargano’s out of the hospital he’ll put him right back in it and turn “Johnny Wrestling” into “Johnny Watches Wrestling.”

2. Bronson Reed defeated Shane Throne with a MASSIVE top rope splash.

3. Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: The Kabuki Warriors (c) defeated Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai. Asuka spit green mist in Kai’s face behind the referee’s back, and Kairi Sane dropped an elbow on Kai’s back to win the match. After the match, Shayna Baszler and the Horsewomen showed up to bully Kai and Nox. This turned into a huge brawl involving the Horsewomen, Nox, Kai, Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Bianca Belair, and Io Shirai. William Regal announced that the brawl would be settled in the first-ever women’s War Games at NXT TakeOver. Later in the episode, Baszler and Ripley were named team captains.

4. Cameron Grimes defeated Tyler Bate with the Cave-In double stomp after a distraction from Killian Dain. After the match, Dain smashed Bate into the ring steps and told him to tell his friend they have “unfinished business.”

5. The Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly) defeated Keith Lee and Matt Riddle. Riddle and Lee fought off interference from the other members of the Undisputed Era, but O’Reilly and Fish were able to hit the High-Low on Riddle to win the match. The group continued to eat down Lee and Riddle until Tommaso Ciampa and his crutch made the save. Ciampa teased picking up the NXT Championship but said, “Goldie, you’re gonna have to wait … daddy’s going to war!”
