Here are your quick and dirty, editorial-free WWE Raw results for April 8, 2019. The Raw after WrestleMania 35 featured the fallout from the biggest show of the year, a few surprises, and an unexpected “winner take all” main event with a fairly expected bait and switch. – Seth Rollins opened the show to celebrate his Universal Championship win over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. He was interrupted by New Day, and new WWE Champion Kofi Kingston challenged him to a “winner take all” match for both championships. Rollins accepted.

1. Raw Tag Team Championship Match: Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins (c) defeated The Revival. Hawkins won the match with a roll-up.

– Baron Corbin showed up to gloat about defeating Kurt Angle at WrestleMania. Angle interrupted, wished him “bad luck,” and hit him with an Angle Slam. As Angle was celebrating, NXT’s Lars Sullivan debuted and attacked him. Watch that here.

2. Alexa Bliss defeated Bayley. Bliss won the match with a DDT.

– Becky Lynch cut a promo celebrating winning the main event of WrestleMania. On her way out, Lacey Evans catwalked out and punched her in the face. Lynch and Evans brawled until Lynch tried to put on the Disarmer, causing Evans to flee.

3. Ricochet and Aleister Black defeated Chad Gable and Bobby Roode. Before the match, Gable and Roode said in an interview that they wanted to get back on track and win “by any means necessary.” Ricochet pinned Gable after a Codebreaker. After the match, Roode attacked Ricochet from behind.

– A spooky stinky (?) bird puppet vignette that was probably for Bray Wyatt aired.

– What was supposed to be “Dean Ambrose’s last match on Raw” never got started. It was intended to be Ambrose vs. Bobby Lashley, but Lashley cut a pre-match promo saying that when Ambrose is gone, he’ll “take care of his wife for him.” Ambrose brawled with Lashley onto the stage and tried to put him through the announce table, but Lashley speared him and spinebustered Ambrose through the table.

– Mojo Rawley broke his mirror and is wearing Bull Nakano face paint now.

– Sami Zayn returned after being out for 10 months with an injury. He asked for a match against anyone, and ended up getting an Intercontinental Championship match against the new champion, Finn Bálor.

4. Intercontinental Championship Match: Finn Bálor (c) defeated Sami Zayn. Bálor dodged a Helluva Kick and hit the Coup de Grace to retain the championship. After the match, Zayn got on the mic and said that he realized everyone missed him, but that he didn’t miss any of this or any of the fans. He cut a heated promo about how WWE is a toxic environment because of the fans, called them out as critics, and said he’d hold them accountable every week. Watch that here.

– Elias had a battle rap response to John Cena, and said that the next person who interrupted him would be a dead man. That brought out the Undertaker, who beat Elias up. Watch that here.

5. Winner Take All Match for the WWE and Universal Championships: Seth Rollins vs. Kofi Kingston ended in a no contest when The Bar interfered and attacked both men. Rollins challenged them to a tag team match, in the Teddy Long style.

6. Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins defeated The Bar. Fans played with beach balls during the match. The champions won with a Trouble in Paradise, followed by a stomp to Cesaro.
