Watch Goldberg Deliver His First WWE Jackhammer And Spear In 12 Years

Monday’s episode of WWE Raw wasted no time getting down to business, as the show opened with the one and only Bill Goldberg coming out to the ring to respond to … whatever it was that Brock Lesnar was trying to accomplish last week. Goldberg was interrupted by Paul Heyman, who said that his client didn’t want to wait until Survivor Series for their match.

Lesnar’s music hit, but Lesnar himself was not in attendance. Heyman said he didn’t come here without backup, and that’s when the Bulgarian Brute Rusev hit the ring. Rusev mocked Goldberg and his “two moves,” the Jackhammer and the spear, and said that looking at Goldberg, he doesn’t think the 49-year-old has the brute strength to pull them off.

Rusev kicked off the violence by punching Goldberg in the face, but that just made him angry. After a brief scuffle, Goldberg managed to hit Rusev with a picture-perfect Jackhammer, then hit Heyman with a spear for good measure. It’s the first time Goldberg has gotten physical in a WWE ring in 12 years and he’s fired up and raring to get a piece of Lesnar at the Survivor Series in November.
