If you’d like to know what happened on tonight’s WWE Raw but don’t want to read star ratings and wordy paragraphs to decipher it, With Leather is here for you. Here’s what happened on the September 30, 2013, episode of WWE Raw:

WWE Raw results:

1. CM Punk defeated Big E Langston. Punk opened the show with another threat for Paul Heyman. He was put into an impromptu match against Big E Langston by Raw GM Brad Maddox, and got the pinfall following a Go To Sleep.

2. Kofi Kingston defeated Fandango. Kofi won with a Trouble In Paradise kick. After the match, Bray Wyatt appeared and (sorta) taunted Kofi.

3. Los Matadores defeated 3MB. This was Los Matadores’ debut on Raw. They have a bullfighting entrance featuring smoke and a little person dressed like a bull. No, seriously. Los Matadores won after a tandem backdrop.

– Triple H and Stephanie McMahon confronted Dusty Rhodes, Cody Rhodes and Goldust in the ring and offered them a match at Battleground: if Cody and Goldust can team and defeat the WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, they get their jobs back. If they lose, they will never work for WWE again, and as a bonus, Dusty loses his job as a trainer of developmental talent. After the Rhodes family agreed to the match, The Shield attacked them.

4. R-Truth defeated Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel. Truth won this non-title match when CM Punk’s music distracted Curtis Axel. Punk did not make an appearance.

5. Brie Bella defeated Alicia Fox. Bella pinned Fox after a facebuster.

6. Alberto Del Rio defeated Zack Ryder. Del Rio won by submission with a cross arm-breaker. Ryder got in more offense than you’d expect.

– Paul Heyman “proposed” to Ryback, asking him to be a Paul Heyman Guy. They were interrupted by CM Punk, who pretended to be injured to lure Heyman in and attack him with a kendo stick. Punk fought off Ryback and Axel with the stick before giving Axel a Go To Sleep.

7. The Shield defeated Dolph Ziggler and The Usos. Roman Reigns pinned Dolph Ziggler after a spear.

– Backstage, Big Show appeared to finally snap, threatening to knock out Triple H. He hunted Triple H down and waited in his office, but the police arrived to stop him. Stephanie McMahon then “vouched” for him and said some condescending stuff about his mortgage and his ability to sexually satisfy his wife. Big Show punched a Triple H poster.

8. Santino Marella defeated Antonio Cesaro. The exact same match they had a few weeks ago. Santino won with a rollup.

– The show ended with an in-ring confrontation between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. Orton insulted Brie Bella, causing Bryan to attack. Orton got the better of Bryan and beat him up in front of Bella, ultimately RKOing him through the announcers’ table.
