A Bunch Of WWE Superstars Took Some Time To Support Noteworthy Causes Before SummerSlam

WWE Superstars and management have been in the New York area all week, but they’ve been doing a heck of a lot more than just getting ready for SummerSlam and NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II.

Several WWE stars took time out of their week to visit kids in need or stop by organizations that are promoting worthwhile causes. If you were in NYC this week at an event, there was a good chance you ran into at least one WWE star who was there on behalf of the company.

Sin Cara, Darren Young, Sami Zayn, Dana Brooke, and Greg Hamilton made a stop at the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club to promote the #BeAStar program to end bullying.

Titus O’Neil, Enzo Amore, and Big Cass delivered 500 books to kids in Staten Island, and Enzo even taught each and every one of them how to properly dab.

Young, Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, Bayley, and Stephanie McMahon made a trip to the Montefiore Medical Center in New York to support the V foundation and meet up with sick children and their families.

Brooke, Mark Henry, and Neville did the same thing at the Brooklyn Children’s Hospital. Brooke in particular seemed to be touched by the experience.

Finally, Neville, Henry, Ryder, and The Big Show attended a Special Olympics event and coached dodgeball and basketball games. They even brought in Howard Finkel to do the announcing.

It’s easy to critique WWE, and at times they might deserve it, but there’s no denying that their superstars go out of their way to make an impact in the community.
