The Internet Created A New Hashtag To Mercilessly Roast Bow Wow For Pretending To Fly On A Private Jet

Yesterday, Bow Wow got caught up in a little bit of chicanery by some eagle-eyed observers. You see, the “Get Money” rapper shared a picture on his Instagram showing off a private plane with a caption that read, “Travel day. NYC press run for Growing Up Hip Hop. Lets gooo.”

The only problem was, it appears that Bow Wow didn’t take a private plane for his trip. A person who shared a flight with him on a commercial plane spotted him and pointed out the discrepancy on Twitter. “So this guy Lil Bow Wow is on my flight to NY,” @Al_Khee wrote on social media. “On Instagram he posted a picture of a private jet captioned ‘traveling to NY today’ smh.” Not the best look.

Because the Internet is a realm without any mercy, Twitter users quickly started roasting Bow Wow for apparently trying to deceive everyone about his wealth. What’s more, they created a brand new hashtag to do it, the #BowWowChallenge. The results, juxtaposing an opulent fantasy with a jarring reality, are as beautiful and hilarious as you can imagine.
