Drake Finally Shares His Much Anticipated Short Film ‘Please Forgive Me’

It’s been a long time coming but Drake’s anticipated short film, Please Forgive Me, is finally here. The new release is inspired by music from the 6 God’s all-everything album Views and is a collaborative effort between Drake and director Anthony Mandler, who has previously worked with Drake on the videos for “Over,” “Find Your Love,” and “Miss Me.” Frequent collaborator and architect for Drizzy’s award-winning sound Noah “40” Shebib handles the score for the flick.

News of the film first started to emerge in late August when Drake teased images on Instagram. He later followed it up with more glimpses for the flick but the whole thing has been kept under wraps leading up to the release. Whatever it is, the flick may have a hard time topping the Cheesecake Factory hijinks of the Tyra Banks-assisted “Child’s Play” video but it’ll surely be worth the watch given the amount of time it appears the assembled team has invested in creating the film.

All in all, it will only add another layer to the runaway success of Views, the double platinum album that owned the Billboard charts the whole summer without much competition.
