Kanye Said A Lot More About Politics Than That Initial Video Revealed

Kanye West did what Kanye does best Thursday night at his Saint Pablo tour stop in San Jose, CA, he set off a firestorm with another rant. This time it centered on politics, the election, racism and of course our president-elect Donald Trump. Yeezy called Trump a “genius,” lauded his policies, revealed that he would have voted for Trump, if he’d bothered to even vote, and so many more things. Oh, and he mentioned that his manager Scooter Braun voted for Hillary.

The extended video, made up of various clips from the concert spliced together, does offer some clarity on the entirety of Kanye’s stance on a multitude of issues including Black Lives Matter. At one point he says that even though he would have voted for Trump “that don’t mean that I don’t think that black lives matter. That don’t mean that I don’t believe in women’s rights. That don’t mean that I don’t mean in gay marriage. That don’t mean that I don’t believe in these things because that’s the guy that I wanted to vote for.”

Plus, ‘Ye said he still plans to run for president in 2020. And if/when he does it’ll be against Trump, who is an admitted fan of Kanye.

So I guess Kanye’s support of Trump should have been no surprise since he apparently “loves” the president-elect according to the man himself.
