Lil Uzi Vert’s Hawaii Vacation Turns Into The Gleeful ‘Do What I Want’ Video

In 2016, Lil Uzi Vert was Soundcloud’s biggest artist, and his last mixtape The Perfect Luv Tape was a big reason why. His track “Do What I Want” is a big reason why, and that song got so massive in its own right it ended up being the soundtrack for Russell Westbrook’s Jordan campaign. Now, nine months later Uzi is returning to the banger to drop his own joyous video for the song.

One might say nine months is too late, and fails to capitalize on the buzz of “Do What I Want,” but that would be ignoring the entire spirt of the song and Uzi himself. So when Uzi found himself enjoying a Hawaii vacation, he probably figured why not shoot a video right now, and while enjoying a vacation with all of his buddies four-wheeling and jumping into a pool “Do What I Want” was probably as apropos as it was ever going to be.

Now the Taylor Gang signee is set to kick off a summer tour after rocking humongous crowds at Coachella’s massive Sahara stage the past two weekends, and judging by the response when I was there, Uzi is more than ready to take the country by storm.
