On Sunday night, Meek Mill confirmed what Jahlil Beats told the world on Instagram last month. Meek posted a photo that said Dreamchasers 4 will be out in September.

“THE TRAP WILL B FOREVER LIT…THEY MAD THAT COMMERCIAL TALK CANT EFFECT THE KID! MY HOOD WAS OUT LAST NIGHT! DC4 SEPT…………….” was the caption that came with the photo.

Meek’s made a couple of references to his newest project within the last few months. Back in July, he vowed that he wouldn’t make anymore extremely violent records after the project’s release. ““After DC4 I won’t continue to rap about extreme violence!!!” a more socially aware Meek surprisingly announced at the time.

There’s also a chance the rumored diss for Joe Budden might end up on the mixtape. Meek played a clip of the diss that even Jumpoff Joey had to tip his hat to. “Just heard a Meek snippet where he’s “dissing” me…” said the Jersey MC. “Spoiler alert, he also mentions a Rolex… Sounds hard tho.”

Meek will most assuredly have a long list of topics to rap about given the year he’s had. There will undoubtedly be references to Rollies, cars, and chicks, but here’s to hoping the Philly MC goes beyond the surface to bring out the classic material most feels he’s capable of.
