Chief Keef is back. The Chicago rapper is gearing up to release a brand new mixtape later this month and dropped by Apple Music today where he chopped it up with Beats 1 DJ Zane Lowe for a bit and unveiled his brand new single “Going Home.”

The song has a decidedly pop-oriented vibe that Keef himself became enamored with. “I love that song a lot,” he told Lowe. “I listen to it every day.”

Keef’s next tape Thot Breaker was supposed to hit back in February, on Valentine’s Day actually, but was eventually pushed up to this Summer, and is expected to drop next week on June 9.

Back in January, Keef unveiled the first single from Thot Breaker, a bombastic and menacing track titled “Get Sleep.”

Thot Breaker is expected to be second in a whole host of mixtapes that Keef aims to release this year. His run began at the very top of 2017 with the his coming out of retirement tape Two Zero One Seven and will culminate with a release named The Dedication and a fourth tape titled Mansion Music. Of course, those plans remain tentative, so let’s wait and see how things go with Thot Breaker first.
