Dozens Are Injured After A Railing Collapse During A Show With Wiz Khalifa And Snoop Dogg

Dozens of music fans were injured in Camden, N.J. during a performance by Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa when a security railing
collapsed.

The two rap artists were performing at the BB&T Pavilion around 10:30 PM when the rail collapsed and sent show
attendees tumbling several feet, per a report by NBC News. At this time, 42 people are said to be injured, including one in critical but stable condition. The majority of the injuries have been described as mostly just broken bones, bumps and bruises with at least 15 being treated at area hospitals. The critically injured person was reportedly transferred to a local trauma center.

Video circulating social media captured the moments leading up to the barrier’s collapse. Snoop and Wiz can be seen
moving back and forth across the stage while performing. The crowd begins to surge forward in response to the call to “get up” and, shortly after, the barrier separating fans from the stage gives way, sending a section of show-goers toppling on top of each
other.

Both artists were quickly ushered off stage and the remainder of the night’s performances were cancelled. At this time, neither the venue nor the artists have commented on the incident.
