Conservative News Host Tomi Lahren Credits Herself As Jay Z’s ‘Rap Muse’

On the Pusha T-led “Drug Dealers Anonymous,” Jay-Z responded to side-swipes from conservative talking head Tomi Lahren about his life as a dealer before rap. In February, Lahren commented that Beyonce should pay more attention to her husband’s past than any claims of police brutality in her “Formation” performance.

During his verse on “DDA,” Hov took the time to sort a few things out for the conservative talk show host.

“Bitch I been brackin’ since the ‘80s
Google me baby, you crazy
’89 in London pull the Benz up
Type it in, Google’s your friend bruh
14-year drug dealer and still counting
Who deserves the medal of freedom is my accountant”

Initially, Lahren answered Hov’s response with a series of tweets. She followed her Twitter response with a few more comments on the “Final Thoughts” portion of her show The Blaze. She starts off dismissively, saying she’d rap her thoughts but she “doesn’t want to give Pusha T and Jay-Z anymore free content.”

Lahren credited herself as the “rap muse” for “DDA” and told viewers that she wasn’t mad at the mention because she “always wanted to be on a rap with two drug dealers.” The host felt she was “winning” because she “basically introed Jay-Z’s rap verse.” While the response served as a basis for mockery, the native South Dakotan took issue with the Brooklyn emcee’s retorts.

“Still find it funny, though, the best comeback to my diss was that ‘no, he’s been selling longer than fourteen years. Awesome. Gotta love America, a nation where we are free to be proud of all of our accomplishments, even dealing drugs to kids in the projects.”

Lahren later referred to herself as “Becky with the blonde hair.” The latter is presumably meant to be a reference to Beyonce’s “Sorry” where Bey defiantly sung “you better find Becky with the good hair.”

It’s clear that Lahren isn’t up on her music game and it’d be wholly appropriate to ask her if she listens to music or does she just skim through it.
