Watch Kids Re-Create ‘A Christmas Story’ On New York City Subway

Christmas Eve is one of my favorite days of the year off the strength of A Christmas Story being shown for 24 hours straight on TBS.

Without fail, I watch at least twice and the movie itself has since become an irreplaceable fixture of the holiday season. It’s good to see others appreciate the coming of age story of Ralphie, too. These young kids, a part of the improv group “Improv Everywhere,” decided to reenact the film’s most iconic moment, otherwise known as the classic “triple dog dare” scene.

While the scene does warm my heart, hopefully that kid at least wiped the pole down. God only knows the germs on a NYC train pole.
