Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Will Reunite To Make One Final, Very Expensive Album

TMZ has recently become Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s media sounding board, apparently.

After breaking the “news” that the Cleveland group is excited about LeBron James’ return to the Cavaliers, the site has also found out that Bone will put out one more album after a 20-country world tour, which starts in December. And they’re going about creating it the same way that the Wu-Tang Clan’s going about their ridiculously expensive final album, Once Upon A Time In Shaolin.

From TMZ:

“The guys from Bone Thugs tell us all five original members will kick off a world tour, then get back in the studio to record final album. They plan to auction off ONE single copy of the album … asking price — at least $1 MILLION!”

If the sell-one-copy-for-loads-of-money technique sounds familiar, it should since Wu-Tang Clan’s undergoing a very similar, well documented endeavor.

Asking price aside, it appears the five members have put aside whatever differences lead to the long-rumored Art of War III being withheld indefinitely last year. Krayzie Bone even distanced himself from that album, proclaiming to Hip-Hop DX, “that’s an album with Layzie, Bizzy and Flesh Bone.”

But one copy of the thing for $1 million, we’ll speculate, seems a little bit too pricy for the archetypal Bone Thugs-N-Harmony fan, considering the group’s never been the wealthy erudite’s preferred Hip-Hop act. However, time will tell if Bone markets the album in the way that they mentioned to TMZ–or if they even make it to the studio at all.
