Your Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Marc Stein, completed a deal which saw Jarrett Jack and Sergey Karasev go to the Nets while Tyler Zeller, their future first round pick and Brooklyn’s Marcus Thornton head to Boston.

Seems like another day in the office, right? Well, not during NBA’s silly season. LeBron’s agent Rich Paul reportedly told Cleveland he’s a lock to return if the team clears up cap space. Don that tin-foil snap back of yours and it’s clear Cleveland gave up all these players to give LeBron a max contract.

Except Rich Paul’s supposed push stems from one of many conflicting reports about NorBeL’s final destination. Also the latest Woj Bomb suggests the Cavs complete this trade with no guarantee for James’ potential return. So do Cleveland know something we don’t or slide into pole position for the Trevor Ariza sweepstakes? You tell me, folks. I’m off to sip this tea one time.
