Despite being centered on a huge chunk of ice, the National Hockey League isn’t oblivious to the notion that they don’t exactly have the coolest sport amongst urban sports fans. For the 2012 Tim Hortons NHL All-Star Game held in Ottawa ON, they made a super effort to bridge the gap, injecting a bit of Hip-Hop into the downtime entertainment realm with Outasight and native Canadian son, Drake chipping in performances.

OU’s “Tonight’s The Night” continues to pick up North American steam as he warmed up the crowd for the game which saw Team Chara surpass Team Alfredsson by a score of 12-9. And then for halftime, Drake called the call to perform “one of the greatest honors I ever received” before “taking care” of live renditions of “Headlines” and “The Motto.”
