Drake’s love for dancehall is well documented at this point, with the OVO leader most recently partnering up with Rihanna for their island smash hit, “Work.”His surprise mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late also featured heavy West Indian vibes courtesy of Jamaican artist Popcaan’s presence and influence on the Grammy-nominated project.

As we near the April 16 release of Drake’s Views From The 6, Drake links up with Popcaan again for “Controlla.” It’s still unclear whether the dancehall-influenced track will be featured on Views, or if it’s just a freebie, but who ever turns down free Drizzy music? And speaking of free Drake music, check out “These Days.” I’m certain “Days” was written and recorded during the Take Care era and probably isn’t on 6.

Update: “These Days” will be released as part of a covers EP by Barf Troop’s Babeo Baggins. “Drake is a friend of mine,” she wrote to Pitchfork. “‘These Days’ is my favorite song in the world and I showed him the song because he had never heard it. He connected with it, which explains us doing the cover.”
