So Mike Vick’s highly touted (second) return to the ‘A’ didn’t go exactly as planned. He’s still the only person in football history to have mixtape release etched to his long, controversial résumé. While stepping 1,000 feet within a recording studio would cause his detractors to lose their minds, his story is one inspires debate, and now art. Juse Dayne chronicles the story of America’s most controversial signal caller in The Michael Vick Project with seven descriptive chapters. From draft day to the present, it’s all there in its glory and infamy.

“Turmoil” afforded a sneak peak, but the project is not truly grasped until heard in order while paying close attention to the lyrics and the skits. If nothing else, MVP is creative and a respectable effort by a fan paying homage in a different manner instead of merely tweeting about his fanhood or making dude his profile picture.
