Did you watch the “Anaconda” video several times yesterday? Don’t be ashamed, I did to, and so too did a lot of people apparently.

According to Nicki’s Instagram, and of course the counter on Youtube, 22 million people watched the video in the first 24 hours that it was uploaded. The power of boners is still as strong as ever folks.

Amongst our fellow thirsty viewers was apparently none other than Sir Mix-A-Lot himself, clocking it at a cool 37 views.

We don’t blame you Mix, not one bit. He also sat down with MTV recently to discuss the song that samples his famous “Baby Got Back” during which he revealed:

“She called [while she was] in the studio,” he said, explaining that he often gets requests to use the song, but is selective about how he handles his publishing. “I don’t really know Nicki Minaj, but I can tell you this: Lazy, she is not. That girl works hard. I was blown away by her work ethic. She would hit us up, she’d be in the studio vibing, coming up with different ideas, making sure those ideas were cool. She’d call you back after a couple more hours.”

As of right now the video has 23,994,578 views on Instagram, because nothing is stronger than the power of thirst. While some may think the video has a deeper, feminist meaning, really what Nicki set out to do here was make horny dudes click play as often as possible.

Mission accomplished.
