Nashville Is The Nation’s Most Music-Centric City

The results are in and it’s Nashville for the win when we’re talking America’s most music-centric cities. Martin Prosperity Institute, a Toronto-based research group, gathered data ranging covering a region’s concentration of musicians, venues and other industry businesses. And when they were finished, Nashville ranked number one, followed by New York and Los Angeles. Of course, there’s a note made to not mistake the concentration of opportunities with “the vibrancy or impact or quality of artists to emerge from a regional scene” but I’m ignoring that. Nashville reigns supreme and that’s all that matters. On behalf of my region, I’m proud to accept this honor.
