PETA’s Latest Protest Target: Pokémon

PETA always blurs the line between charitable work and incredible trolling. Chalk this up in the latter category. Apparently sick of the way that fictional, digital creatures are treated in Nintendo’s Pokémon series, the infamous animal rights group has released their own version of the game. Labeled “Black and Blue,” it’s hard to find just one pull-worthy quote, but we’ll go with:

“If PETA existed in Unova, our motto would be: Pokémon are not ours to use or abuse. They exist for their own reasons. We believe that this is the message that should be sent to children. ~ Team PETA”

If you ever find the time to remove your head from your palm, you can play the game here. And do feel free to share your favorite unintentional comedy moment in the comments. We’re sitting on a gold mine with this one.
