Here’s Stephen A. Smith Insinuating That Chip Kelly’s Offseason Roster Moves Are Motivated By Racism

ESPN bloviator-in-chief Stephen A. Smith, the same man who once suggested that female victims of domestic violence might be the ones at fault for the beatings they receive, this morning suggested that Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly may be motivated by racism when he lets players like DeSean Jackson, LeSean McCoy and Jeremy Maclin go to other teams, while simultaneously keeping someone like Riley Cooper on the squad.

Chip Kelly makes decisions over the last couple of years that dare I say make a few brothers uncomfortable. I think that’s fair to say. We’re sitting here looking at some of the decisions that Chip Kelly makes and I’m like what’s up with that?…I’m not saying I know, but I’m just going to say that it does strike me as a tad bit odd. I’m going to repeat this. Gone: LeSean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin, you know, DeSean Jackson. Staying: Riley Cooper. Really?

Stephen A. Smith has said some really moronic things in past few years that dare I say make a few people uncomfortable. I think that’s fair to say. Is Stephen A. Smith a moron? That’s for you to decide.
