The Franklin Half Marathon was run in Tennessee over the weekend, and the incredible video you see above purports to be from said marathon. Photos on the race’s website show that it goes through some very rural areas, and this group of traveling musicians/hecklers is set up in a rural area with runners going past them. So it all checks out, investigation over.

— 0:01: “WHERE Y’ALL RUNNIN’ FROM?!”
— 0:45: Are they starting to play “Dueling Banjos”? Yes. Yes they are.
— 1:19 “SLOW DOWN YOUNG MAN! Come talk to us!”
— 1:40: Man in nothing but overalls dancing in the road and making hog noises.
— 4:22: They actually steal a runner off the course.
