FIFA continues their reign as a parody sports organization and John Oliver is here to crown them once again. Sepp Blatter, currently on a “I’m very sorry I took piles of money illegally can you please forgive me” campaign, made a public appearance in Russia with Vladimir Putin for the 2018 World Cup. Blatter and Putin existing in the same space may be the easiest material ever bestowed upon John Oliver. He perfectly articulated and ridiculed the glorious demise of FIFA through loss of major sponsorship. As long as the FIFA circus is in town, John Oliver will be here to guide us.
