The Seahawks’ Michael Bennett Made A Bizarre Comparison Between Matthew Stafford And JFK’s Assassination

It appears that Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett took great joy in his team’s controversial 13-10 win over the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football, but not for any reason you might think. After the game, he shared his feelings about Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, and his comment certainly turned some heads.

Bennett and his brother, Bears tight end Martellus Bennett, have been known to say and do some off-the-wall things. In fact, just one day earlier, Martellus compared Jay Cutler to Jesus, saying that the criticism Cutler receives is unfair. “They threw rocks at Jesus, and Jesus was an excellent guy who did a lot of awesome stuff,” Bennett said after the Bears victory over the Raiders. But this latest quote by Michael may take the cake.

It’s important to note that Stafford was born 25 years after JFK was shot, and that despite going to a Dallas high school, he was born in Tampa, and went to college at Georgia. Also, Michael’s brother Martellus began his career with the Cowboys.

Other than that, his grudge is perfectly reasonable.
