Ronda Rousey Responds To Rumors That She Reneged On Marine Ball Date

With all this hubbub over Ronda Rousey dating fellow UFC fighter Travis Browne, a certain US Marine was starting to worry he might be SOL for the Marine Corps Ball.

Lance Cpl. Jarrod Haschert made headlines when he took to social media asking Ronda to accompany him to the event celebrating the birth of the Marines. And then, to everyone’s surprise, Ronda said yes. And now she’s confirming to TMZ Sports that she’ll still attend, regardless of her relationship status:

“I’m still going, I’m not pulling out. I’m a woman of my word. My man understands. He trusts me. So I can go. It ain’t no thang. I hope he’s still got the dates for my girls because we’re making a trip out of it. I’m gonna be bringing all of them, the Four Horsewomen are going. And if he doesn’t have dates for them, then we ‘re just not off to a good start. I’m not gonna leave, but it’ll be like, c’mon man!”

The Four Horsewomen are Ronda Rousey, Marina Shafir, Shayna Baszler and Jessamyn Duke. Named after the ’80s pro wrestlers who called themselves The Four Horsemen, it’s a moniker Ronda and her training friends have been rocking for the past two years. Baszler and Duke are UFC veterans while Shafir is still working her way up. In addition to being fighting badasses, they’re not hard on the eyes either … so Lance Cpl. Jarrod Haschert shouldn’t have too much trouble finding dates for them.

The Marine Corps Ball is on November 10th. Ronda Rousey’s big UFC fight against Holly Holm goes down November 15th in Australia. Never say that Ronda lets her fighting get in the way of a fun night out.
