Here Is Cam Newton Giving All Five Of His Touchdown Balls To Kids

What a bizarre week for Cam Newton. It all started last Sunday when Cam went to town after scoring a touchdown against the Titans, pulling off a dance routine that lasted a solid fifteen seconds. It was Cam being Cam, it was amusing, and it was fun. His opponent, however, didn’t think much of it and a brawl almost broke out as a result. One day later a Tennessee mom expressed her displeasure with Cam’s “pelvic thrust” dance in a letter to a local newspaper. The letter basically amounted to, “what am I supposed to tell my children.” It was embarrassing on every level, both for the mom and the newspaper that printed it.

Because of where we sat, we had a close up view of your conduct in the fourth quarter. The chest puffs. The pelvic thrusts. The arrogant struts and the ‘in your face’ taunting of both the Titans’ players and fans. We saw it all.

And because you are a role model, your behavior brought out like behavior in the stands… My daughter sensed the change immediately – and started asking questions. Won’t he get in trouble for doing that? Is he trying to make people mad? Do you think he knows he looks like a spoiled brat?

All of that brings us to Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins. A game in which Cam Newton scored five touchdowns in an MVP-like performance. In typical Cam fashion, he handed every single game ball to a child in the stands. As far as we can tell there were no “pelvic thrusts” or “chest puffs.”
