J.J. Watt Talked Trash About Andy Dalton, And The Bengals QB Was Pretty Upset About It

J.J. Watt dropped the corn ball above following the Texans upset victory over the Bengals, twisting Andy Dalton’s “Red Rifle” nickname into something that apparently wasn’t appreciated too much by the Bengals quarterback.

If you can’t hear that — likely because Dalton is wagging his finger too hard under the podium — here’s a handy transcript via the folks over at SB Nation:

“I’m disappointed in him. It’s the integrity of this game. I have a lot of respect for him. He’s a really good player. There’s a lot of kids and lot of people that look up to him, and for him to make comments like that, he’s just showing that that’s acceptable to do that kind of stuff, to say that kind of stuff.

It’s disappointing for one of the best players in this league to come out and say something like that. That’s all I’m going to say about that. I think J.J.’s a good player. But for him to be one of the best in this league and to show that integrity, it shows what he’s about, which is disappointing.

The only way this would be worse is if Lawrence O’Donnell was asking the questions on Thanksgiving night. Steve Smith likely said five things that would’ve actually made kids gasp in the same amount of time that Dalton took to show his displeasure with J.J. Watt.
