The 5 Most Game-Changing Players From The NFL Draft, Ranked

Not all that glitters is gold, especially when it comes to pre-NFL draft hype. According to the NFL Players Association, the average NFL career is 3.3 years. With hundreds of players getting drafted, in addition to many more being signed as undrafted free agents, the odds are stacked against incoming players vying for a chance to make a difference on their squad. There are, however, special players every year, and these are the ones we believe will be game-changers.

Myles Jack: The UCLA linebacker is considered the best at his position – for now. He admitted that he’ll need microfracture surgery due to a degenerative issue in his knee, which led to him tumbling down the draft board. Still, a healthy Jack could dominate:

Joey Bosa: Picked 3rd overall by the San Diego Chargers, Bosa is a Jared Allen-esque DE that has grinding style that should help one of the poorest sack defenses in the league.

Jared Goff: Went #1 overall to the Rams, and is their future.

Jalen Ramsey: Drafted in the #5 position by the Jaguars, he’ll be contributing immediately to a Jags team that needs him.

Laquon Treadwell: The best WR in the draft on plenty of boards, the fell after posting a 40-yard dash in 4.65 seconds at the NFL Combine. Can a few tenths of a second really make a WR?

Teams have tried to make picking college players a science, but it’s mostly about minimizing risk. These players should make waves.
