From the excellent RandBall comes this exciting bit of news: Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star dancer Sally is in Las Vegas, and she's blogging her experience. As with all things cheerleader-related that have pictures, it's a delightful read. From Day #2:
The 3:45 a.m. wake-up call came pretty fast this morning… After a much-needed cup of coffee in the lobby, I met with the other dancers and we were off to the studio… Right away the news crew had us outside with a reporter, for whom we were answering questions and dancing.
Whoa, whoa… did you catch that? Correct use of who/whom and proper avoidance of ending the sentence with a
proposition preposition? (Hello, Freud.) Either the Timberwolves have a ghostwriter who's a little too thorough, or I'm hopelessly in love. "Grammarian cheerleader" just skyrocketed to the top of my fantasy list.
