Daniel Cormier Will Face Anderson Silva In A Non-Title Bout At UFC 200

Middleweight GOAT Anderson Silva will step in on 48-hours notice to fight Daniel Cormier at UFC 200. As you can see, it’s a 3 round, light heavyweight fight, so Cormier’s title will not be on the line, but Anderson Silva is returning and the Spider is saving UFC 200. Incredible. Absolutely incredible.

Holy sh*t.

Of course, Anderson Silva has the length and size advantage on Cormier, but Cormier can easily work his way inside and take him down if Anderson wants to be the playful Anderson that toyed with, and ultimately lost to Michael Bisping. However, this could be angry Anderson, who destroys former light heavyweight champs like Forrest Griffin.

Anderson just had his gall bladder removed on May 10th forcing him to pull out of his UFC 198 fight against Uriah Hall. Is he in shape? Is he in Daniel Cormier shape? Cormier is coming in extremely motivated, and will still cut the weight to 205, so this is interesting. Does Anderson have weight to cut?

So many questions.

It looks like we all need to take Anderson Silva more seriously when he posts on Instagram that he’s on his way to UFC 200. This is truly an amazing way to keep the main event, or whatever it is at this point, alive.
