If you haven’t done so already, it’s about time you familiarized yourself with Cubs first baseman (and peddler of Chevy cars and trucks), Anthony Rizzo. Not only has he become one of the better hitters in all of baseball, but he also seems like a genuinely nice guy who cares about his fans.
Last week, Rizzo took time out of his day to surprise one young fan at the oncology floor of a Chicago hospital. He came bearing gifts and posed for pictures, and you can tell by the look on the face of the girl how overwhelmed and smitten she was with her new best friend.
