A Baylor Football Player Was Caught Beating His Dog With A Belt In A Sickening Video

*WARNING* The above video is graphic.

News Channel 25 in Waco has obtained a disturbing video of Baylor wide receiver Ishmael Zamora viciously beating his dog. If you’d rather not watch (and I would actually advise you not to), Zamora can be seen striking the Rottweiler with a belt several times and then kicking it.

The video, which was recorded in June, was reported to the authorities by former Baylor student Shelby Ball, and Zemora was charged with a Class C misdemeanor. When contacted for a statement by New Channel 25, Zemora said he was only trying to discipline the dog for peeing in the house but lost his temper.

“I lost my temper trying to discipline him,” Zamora said. “I’ve been through training with a dog trainer to help me learn new potty-training tips.”

Baylor head coach Jim Grobe has said the team will discipline Zamora for his actions, but it’s curious that he is just now saying that, since the News Channel 25 reports state that the Baylor athletic department knew about the video when it was reported to the authorities.

Zamora played primarily as a kick returner for Baylor last season, but he also had 142 yards receiving and two touchdown receptions.
