2015 has been a great year for mixed martial arts with several of the biggest fights in history. This was the year of Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor, but let’s not forget all those fighting on the prelims of UFC cards, on Bellator, in regional shows, and in the many international fight leagues around the world. Without these guys giving it their all in relative anonymity, MMA as a sport wouldn’t exist as a platform for its stars to stand on.
This video by Caposa is a great way to see a lot of what went down in the first half of 2015. Knockouts are pretty much the most exciting part of combat sports, and this video brings us 44 of the best ones from January 2015 up to Ronda Rousey’s knockout of Bethe Correia on August 1. Where most highlights concentrate on the UFC to the exclusion of others, Caposa digs up the best action from all leagues and packs it all into two minutes and 45 seconds.
Some of our favorites:
Dan Henderson knocks out Tim Boetsch with an uppercut from hell in June.
Frank Mir drops Todd Duffee in epic fashion from July.
And Ronda Rousey taking out Bethe Correia from August.
We’ll keep you posted on when Caposa uploads another video with the second half of 2015. Until then, here’s more of his mixed martial arts highlight videos.
