Watch What Happens When A 6-Foot-8 Strongman Competitor Tries To Walk On A Plane

Brian Shaw is a two-time winner of the World’s Strongest Man competition. Standing 6-foot-8 and weighing more than 400 pounds, this mountain of a man once bench pressed 525 pounds and has squatted 800.

There’s little doubt that being the world’s strongest human has its advantages. For instance, he probably never has trouble opening a new jar of pickles. He just grabs it with both hands, gently turns the lid lefty-loosey like a boss, and boom, he’s got pickles.

But on the flip side, can you imagine what it must be like for a man his size when he has to travel? Luckily we now have video.

Last week, Shaw recorded his experience as he navigated his way through airport security, then on a cramped tram, and finally as he squeezed himself onto an airplane.

The world is simply not designed to accommodate a man who is that large.
