Richard Jefferson Immediately Regretted Leaking A Pic Of The Cavs’ Championship Rings

A whole summer has passed since the Cleveland Cavaliers did the unthinkable and overcame a 3-1 series deficit to the Golden State Warriors to win an NBA title. It gave the city of Cleveland its first championship in more than 50 years and in the process solidified LeBron James as its hometown hero, the prodigal son finally made good on a promise he made all those years ago.

NBA Championships, of course, are all about the rings, and it looks like the Cavs will be blessed with some pretty dope ones after Richard Jefferson leaked the above pic to his Snapchat on Tuesday. Before doing so, however, he posted this coy teaser (hopefully, one would think, with the tacit understanding that absolutely no one would comply with his half-hearted plea for discretion in this case).

And because this is the internet and no one is to be trusted since the everyday rules of moral and/or ethical decorum do not apply in cyberspace, Jefferson immediately regretted his decision to share the pic and quickly deleted it.

But it was already too late because, again, this is the internet and you can take screengrabs for posterity’s sake with the simple push of a button.
