Normally, Charles Barkley rants are pretty coherent. He may lose his logic or train of thought, but usually you can at least kind of follow his argument from point A to point B. This rant, on the state of the Phoenix Suns (we’re pretty sure that’s what it’s supposed to be, at least), is an entirely different beast.
It starts off normal enough, with Chuck bashing the Suns for throwing Jeff Hornacek under the bus. And that’s when things devolve quite quickly. Rather than address the locker room issues or their inconsistent effort, Chuck illustrates the sorry state of the Suns by talking about…their food? According to Chuck, everything from the popcorn to the nachos are stale and bad. Sure, it’s a metaphor for how horrible everything is in Phoenix right now, we get it, but after the fifth or sixth food item, the argument gets as stale as…well, as stale as those nachos, we suppose.
