Chase Utley Made The Mets Pay Dearly After They Threw Behind Him

You throw at Chase Utley, you best not miss. Or, you should miss. I’m not sure. Either way — you throw at Chase Utley, and you’ll pay the price. He will take your shade, thrown at him at high speeds, and he’ll send it right back at you. Actually, he’ll send it over you and into the stands.

As if the home run after getting thrown at was bad enough, on his next at bat, Utley once again went yard…this time with a grand slam. The Mets have paid and paid dearly for their transgression.

This bad blood goes back, way back. Back to the NLDS when Utley broke the leg of Ruben Tejada.
