Conor McGregor Is Already Talking Trash To His New Opponent

Now that Jose Aldo is too hurt to face Conor McGregor at UFC 189 on July 11, Chad Mendes has stepped in to face him for the Interim Featherweight Championship.

McGregor spoke with TSN’s Michael Landsberg about the change in opponent, and said:

“Little Mendes shouldn’t have answered the phone. I feel he is in over his head.”

He then went on to say that Mendes, who has only ever lost to the dominant Featherweight Champ, is merely an “alright fighter.”

“The Notorious” Conor McGregor will face the “alright” Chad “Money” Mendes for the Interim UFC Featherweight title at UFC 189 on July 11.
