Conor McGregor Went On A Trash-Talking Twitter Rant Aimed At UFC And Nate Diaz

Conor McGregor is making sure Conor McGregor isn’t leaving the limelight any time soon. Despite the fact that he was ripped from the UFC 200 main event, which was to be a rematch against Nate Diaz for supposedly not wanting to do the media rounds, the brash Irish featherweight champion is still angling for that big money fight.

Reports have come out saying that McGregor was going to get at least $10 million for his UFC 200 fight, but UFC president Dana White confusingly took him off the card with much joy, and now we’re here.

When the fallout of McGregor “retiring” for a few days originally hit the MMA world, the cards were in his favor, but now instead of doing media, he’s partaking in Twitter Q&As, which either reeks of desperation, or is proof that where Conor goes, media will follow, depending on your perspective.

Either way, here’s his ranting and general sh*t talk in the direction of Nate Diaz, the UFC and pretty much the entire featherweight division.

Fans have questioned McGregor’s BJJ abilities on the ground, but Mystic Mac has a retort for them:

Granted, if you rewatch the fight (I’ve watched it a half-dozen times), Nate is pretty much toying with Mac because the round is ending, and he gives him an open hand slap multiple times as Nate is swept. So, take from that what you will.

Not sure what this means in regards to Nate Diaz, who lives and breathes MMA.

Then, the talk starts to shift to UFC 200, and how it won’t get anywhere near the amount of buys it would’ve had Nate and Conor headlined (that’s with three title fights on the card, still).

And so, the rant continues…

This is pretty interesting. Conor, after beating Jose Aldo for the featherweight belt that he has yet to defend since winning it in December of 2015, said he would have had at least two fights under his belt by this time. Remember, he was supposed to fight Rafael dos Anjos for the lightweight title, and then move either up again, or down to defend his title. Now it looks like he’ll finally defend his title a year after winning it? Hmmmm.

The man speaks the truth here.

This statement here is a big deal with fighters, and why they want a union. The fact is, the UFC tells the fighters what the PPV buys are. Who knows what the real buys were? The media only has estimates. This may or may not be true.
