Around a month ago, a reddit user by the name of “Disgruntled_AF_EOD” told the world that if Clemson made it into the 2015 college football playoff, that he would get a tattoo of Dabo Swinney. He also declared it would be “something classy.”
Well he has followed up on at least the first part of that promise, as he indeed did get the tattoo of the Clemson head coach after Swinney led the Tigers to the ACC championship and number-one seed in the playoff.
“It’s a little bruised up. Just got it last night. The eyes and flesh tones will lighten up immensely. It’s only been a few hours. OP delivers.”
While I can’t claim to know how difficult it is to accurately depict a person’s face in a tattoo, I can say that that indeed does not look even remotely like Dabo Swinney, but it’s okay, it’s not like he’s stuck with it the rest of his life or anything.
The redditor also said that if Clemson were to win the whole thing, he would get a banner under Swinney’s face that says “Champion,” but if they do go all the way, he might want to head to a different tattoo artist for the follow-up.
