A Brazilian Soccer Player Had A Creative Way Of Peeing On The Pitch Before A Match

Now this is what you call a “pissing match.” Do you get it?

Anyway, you know how it is. When you have to go, you have to go. And Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense midfielder Douglas dos Santos really had to go. Like, on the field and everything.

Santos pulled the ol’ “rugby squat” before Grêmio’s Copa do Brasil quarterfinal match against Fluminense on Wednesday. With his teammates huddled around him, because that’s what good teammates do, Santos squatted down and urinated on the pitch. It’s not like he could go back into the locker room, and peeing on someone during the game probably, but not definitely, would have resulted in a red card.

In the truest sense of the phrase, Santos was making lemonade out of the situation. Well done, everyone. As for the game, Grêmio and Fluminense played to a 0-0 tie.
