Invicta FC 16 And WOSF 29: Combat Sports Live Discussion

Hey fight fans, we’ve got a fun pair of events this weekend. There’s nothing from the UFC, but the fights on tap should be fun. Let’s take a look at what’s going down and when it’s happening.

Invicta FC 16

Invicta is back with all women’s MMA action, culminating in an atomweight title fight. New champ Ayaka Hamasaki defends her 105 pound championship against Amber Brown. In the co-main, Vanessa Porto and Jennifer Maia battle for the interim flyweight title. We’ve also got former atomweight champ Herica Tiburcio taking on Jinh Yu Frey, Irena Aldana welcoming Jessamyn Duke back to the ranks of Invicta, and Angela Hill taking on Stephanie Eggink. The fights start at 8:30PM ET, and the whole thing is available on UFC Fight Pass.

World Series of Fighting is back with a lightweight title bout in the main event. Justin Gaethje, undefeated knockout artist defends his title against tournament winner Brian Foster. The rest of the card doesn’t look super great, but Gaethje always brings excitement. You can catch WSOF 29 on NBC Sports at 10PM ET.
