Jose Canseco’s Daughter Might Be In The 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition

You’re likely familiar with Jose Canseco, the 1986 American League Rookie of the Year and one-half of the Oakland Athletics’ “Bash Brothers.” He’s also made a name for himself as a whistleblower of sorts, outing many MLB players for their use of performance enhancing drugs.

In 1988, Canseco graced the cover of Sports Illustrated as a member of the A’s, and his daughter is now making a play for her own cover. Josie, 18, is an aspiring model who just last month was in the news for an unfortunate incident. According to TMZ, she was arrested in Hollywood on suspicion of a DUI.

We’re told the 18-year-old — who’s appeared on mom, Jessica’s reality show — was given field sobriety tests, which she didn’t pass, and was subsequently arrested. But our sources say cops didn’t think Canseco was under the influence of alcohol … they believe it was drugs.

The arrest hasn’t slowed Josie’s career, though, and she’s vying for a spot in SI‘s 2016 swimsuit issue. Here’s her video:
