I'd never heard of Tennessee Volunteers center Josh McNeil until today, but D-I offensive linemen have a harder time staying under the radar when websites run headlines like this: Police quiz UT center McNeil, charge three women found in his bed.
The incident happened after Tennessee's win last Saturday, when a concerned citizen reported a possible burglary at McNeil's apartment. Police found a blood-smeared window that had been broken by a potted plant, and upon entry discovered "several rifles, shotguns and a handgun." And yet most of the firepower was in the bedroom.
McNeil, a junior from Collins, Miss., was not charged by police investigating reports of a burglary at McNeil’s apartment, but his three female visitors didn’t fare as well. The three women were charged with underage consumption of an alcoholic beverage.
The three lasses (aged 19, 18, and 19) are two undergrads from Virginia Tech and one from UT. And their Facebook accounts are all easily found with a simple search, not that I would ever do or recommend such a thing.
Anyway, a With Leather game ball definitely goes out to McNeil, as he accomplished with a letterman's jacket and some Jagermeister what most of us have to pay thousands of dollars for. Or maybe he used the guns. I'm sure that's just as effective.
